Scott Wood will be visiting Central Christian bringing a
hilarious performance of crazy comedy and
right-on-the-money celebrity impressions. Hailed as one of
the funniest Christian comedians today, Scott presents his
material in a clean, professional and family-oriented
manner that is both entertaining and engaging.
From comedy clubs and cruise ships, to churches, colleges and corporate events, Scott has entertained audiences across the United States and abroad in a variety of television, radio, film and personal appearances. Among his many television credits are ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, A&E, Comedy Central and The Family Channel as well as two national commercial appearances. An accomplished impressionist with over 300 celebrity animated voices in his repertoire, his imitations have been heard on KLOS, KABC and the Rick Dees Show.
In recent years, Scott was named Stand-Up Comedy Champion after winning the Improv Comedy Club’s 2003 Talent Search for funniest comedian. He has performed at many well-acclaimed clubs that include The Comedy Store, The Ice House, The Laugh Factory and the Sahara Hotel in Las Vegas as well as providing the opening act for musical artists Blood, Sweat & Tears, Beatlemania, Tower of Power and country music sensations Brooks & Dunn. Scott has also been a hit at corporate functions throughout the U.S. such as The McDonald’s Corporation, Disney, Xerox, Toyota, Century 21 and the Salvation Army.
